The current scheme plans involve relocating servicing off-street from Rangoon Street into a dedicated bay within the building on Carlisle Avenue. Dedicated cycle access will be from Rangoon Street with ramped access into secure cycle storage.
The student accommodation use will operate in accordance with a Student Management Accommodation Plan. This will control for instance how move-in / move-out arrangements will be managed.
Subject to planning permission, the aim is for this building to be fully operational in time for the 2026/27 academic year.
The construction programme will be developed alongside stakeholders to minimise local impact and ensure coordination with other construction projects in the local area.
